Architecture

Wooden Construction: The columns and beams of the Palace museum are made of wood. The halls are separated into different rooms using wooden walls. Interlocking roof brackets are used to transfer the weight to vertical columns of the structure and to reduce horizontal beam strain.
Painting and decorations: The doors and windows colors are changed consistently to suit different emperors. However, most columns are painted in red, and the roofs painted in yellow with tiles.
Other architectural designs used in the museum include numerology, stone carving and terrace, bronze and stone lions, and throne rooms made of ornate.
Gentrification
The palace museum has significantly contributed to the modernization and beautification of Beijing. It has promoted the renovation of old structures and tearing down of unauthorized constructions. The population of Chinese is also expected to decrease by the end of this year to improve fire safety and enhance power safety (Liu et al., 2019). The historic neighborhoods have also benefited a lot from the museum; they have received radical facelifts, including the hosting of the 2008 Olympics. Some neighborhoods, particularly to the south, have been demolished and rebuilt.
