The state funding to the University of South Florida is less compared to state funding to the University of Michigan. Increasing funds to USF will enable the university to expand the student learning facilities, improve the living conditions and the student’s welfare in the university. With adequate financial resources, there will be available faculty resources in the university, and thus there will be no issues like strained faculty resources. Funding more resources to the USF will help the student to be research-oriented and not theoretical oriented because the institution will have adequate facilities and finances for sponsoring projects. Having adequate funds will help USF to develop an effective education framework that will improve the students’ performance countrywide. The money that’s is pumped to the universities by the State government is mainly used to meet the needs of the students and society. Increasing funds will help USF implementing new education tactics and recruit more competent professionals in the university. The University of South Florida should not be compared with the University of Michigan in rankings. One is because the University of South Florida is not the largest in Florida State.
